Made To Order Guidelines
NSW Clothing Limited – Made To Order Guidelines
Ordering
The order will not be processed into our factory until all artwork has been signed off and approved by the customer. Artwork is deemed to be approved when the approval & proof document, prepared by us, has been reviewed and signed by the customer.
Lead Time
Our lead time varies between different providers.
Internal manufactured orders (including orders made in the UK by Ludis Manufacturing (UK) Limited) – 3 weeks
Omnitau – 3 weeks
Canterbury of New Zealand – 8 to 12 weeks (4 weeks for Kori Jerseys on fast track in Scotland, note £10 per unit surcharge applies for this service).
Under Armour – 12 to 18 weeks
Portwest – 12 to 16 weeks
Mizuno – 16 weeks
Uneek – 18 weeks
Other providers provided on request
Lead time is deemed to commence at the point where the approval & proof document is returned to us by you, not at the point where you submit your order to us.
Minimum Order
The minimum quantity required to process an order varies between different providers.
Internal manufactured orders (including orders made in the UK by Ludis Manufacturing (UK) Limited) – 1 unit
Omnitau – 1 unit
Canterbury of New Zealand – 10 units
Under Armour – 11 units (40 or 50 units on some styles)
Portwest – 500 units
Mizuno – 10 units
Uneek – 1000 units
Other providers provided on request
While in the past we have been able to process orders below the minimum for a surcharge, this is no longer possible, and we encourage customers affected by this to make use of our UK produced Omnitau and Ludis Manufacturing (UK) options, which have no minimum order.
Artwork
We will always do our best to work with whatever artwork assets you have to hand.
For best results, we recommend submitting vectorised artwork files with supporting colour references in CMYK format. Our friendly graphics team are always on hand to assist. Drop us an email at info@nswclothing.co.uk.
We do not charge for redrawing artwork, however we do charge for creating your designs on your first order, and redrawing artwork increases the setup time, resulting in a higher creation charge.
Approvals
We will create and submit an approval & proof document in pdf format and send to you via email to review, sign, and return via email.
This document will contain all details of your order, and will be used to produce your order. It is your responsibility to check this matches what you would like. Disputes relating to material differences between order and delivered product will be measured using this document, not original files supplied by you with your initial order. We would therefore strongly recommend checking this document carefully.
Pre Production Sampling
We offer pre production sampling where the 2D and 3D assets within your approval & proof document are not sufficient for you to feel confident to commit to a full order.
Such samples are both chargeable and non-refundable. Please note this service can only be provided for orders through Ludis Manufacturing or Omnitau.
Colour Matching & Reproduction
We will always match colours on a best effort basis. We can never guarantee a colour will be reproduced exactly, due to the nature of the manufacturing basis. Orders can only be rejected on the basis of a material deviation (as defined in law) from the approval & proof document.
